Izlaskom BitDefender antivirusnih paketa verzije 2010 zadržavaju se postojeći nazivi paketa, uz promjenu sufiksa u 2010 te glase:

• BitDefender Antivirus 2010
• BitDefender Internet Security 2010
• BitDefender Total Security 2010

Popis starijih verzija BitDefender paketa i dosadašnjih promjena naziva antivirusnih paketa BitDefender:

BitDefender Antivirus 2009, BitDefender Internet Security 2009, BitDefender Total Security 2009
(omogućena je besplatna nadogradnja na odgovarajuću verziju 2010.)

BitDefender Antivirus 2008, BitDefender Internet Security 2008, BitDefender Total Security 2008
(omogućena je besplatna nadogradnja na odgovarajuću verziju 2010.)

Izlaskom BitDefendera 2008 došlo je do promjene naziva paketa, kao i njihove funkcionalnosti. BitDefender Antivirus v10 prelazi u Bitdefender Antivirus 2008. Bitdefender Antivirus Plus v10 i Bitdefender Internet Security v10 zajedno tvore novi paket BitDefender Internet Security 2008. I na kraju, pojavljuje se novi paket, Bitdefender Total Security 2008, s potpuno novim funkcionalnostima.
